Work Samples:

sapphire as production manager - Full time, december 2023-Present

  • Supervise all Company One Theatre productions & public facing special events, including tasks but not limited to:

    • Create and manage budgets.

    • Working with Operations Manager to issue payments in a timely manner.

    • Create/manage production calendars for all company productions and special events o Secure, schedule, and manage all venues (auditions, rehearsals, performances) for productions and special events.

    • In conversation with Program Producers, identify staffing requirements for each production and event, and lead the recruitment and hiring processes for production staff including listing positions, interviewing, and contracting o Schedule/Manage first meetings & read throughs in collaboration with New Work & Connectivity. o Manage personnel – ensure designers are meeting deadlines/contracted agreements, ensure/facilitate proper communication between production staff, troubleshoot personnel issues.

      1. Create agenda for and lead all production meetings/other meetings as necessary.

      2. Responsible for the communication of deadlines and other critical dates. o Create a final draft of designer tech schedule o Manage overhire staff during build and tech weeks and load outs.

      3. Schedule and manage load out o Attend all design runs, cue to cue, tech and dress rehearsal o Be available for paper and dry techs o Be on call to respond to performance report issues.

      4. Manage company storage facilities & equipment as necessary

      5. Work with the HR & Operations Managers to keep the staffing database updated.

  • Serving as Stage Manager and Livestream Director for weekly performances

    • Responsible for the whole of weekly productions delivering a high quality and professional product.

  • Managing Rehearsals

  • Supporting Artists on Site

  • Archiving and organizing digital assets

  • Equipment Management

  • Oversight of intern team of 1-3 students

  • Left the job due to moving to a full time role elsewhere, Emmanuel Music was unwilling to keep Sapphire on without full availability.
