Silver Suns

"Silver Suns" was commissioned by Jonah Payne in June, 2019 and was premiered at the October 3rd, 2019 Flyover New Music Series concert. It was performed by Jonah Payne, double seconds steel pans, and accompanist Erik Strikland. Silver Suns depicts a beautiful beach on a cloudy, sprinkling, day. The color of the pans being used to depict the ivory sunshine, the ebbing tide, and the coming storm.
